As @Mark_B post about changes on the forum was closed right after the OP, I had missed it .
I now realize that this thread has been counterproductive. Instead of making moderation more clear, they now ask that when the reason for moderation is unclear, the poster sends DM to moderators. I thought the objective was that moderators should DM the poster and be clear about the issue.
