Hi all,
This is a question specifically for US citizens who are global nomads or long-term travelers. When you visit the US (but don’t live there full-time), what do you personally do for medical insurance coverage during that time?
For example, I use World Nomads when I’m traveling internationally, but they don’t cover trips to the US. So when you’re back in the States for a visit, what short-term medical insurance do you actually buy to cover yourself?
Just to clarify:
- I’m looking for real-life examples of what you do.
- I’d like to know the name(s) of specific insurers.
- I really appreciate input from fellow US citizens who’ve had to figure this out.
Thanks in advance!
