Hi,
I am traveling in BC, Canada and left my phone charger and international adapter at the hotel in Vancouver. I’m not going back that way as I’m heading towards Calgary but if anyone is in Vancouver that can help me out by getting it for me I’d be very grateful. I know it’s a long shot but I thought I’d put it out there. It would be fun to meet up if possible.

Hi, I asked them immediately when I realized I had forgotten it but they said to go pick it up.
Would you like someone to pick it up and send it to you or…? In the gentlest and friendliest manner I’m wondering if a new cable and adapter might cost you less…

I don’t know if it would cost me less as I left behind a multi plug international adapter which costs a bit more than those single ones that are more easily found in stores. I would do it for someone if it was in my town so I thought I would see if someone would be open to helping me get it back.
I would explain the situation better to the hotel, telling them you cannot pick it and reassuring them that you’ll pay for the postage.
Ask to speak with a manager.
I found a good Samaritan to get it for me
