Walkable neighborhoods in the U.S

A driverless car took me back to my sit home after dinner in San Francisco.

Hope these become more commonplace before I’m too old to drive.

Slightly tangentially, I’ve been surprised by how my rural UK sits haven’t always been that walkable straight from the door - quite often, to access walkable paths straight from the house I’ve needed to walk the pup(s) along narrow, busy lanes first, or drive them. On a forthcoming rural sit, where the garden is secure and large enough for the pups to be very happy staying at home, I’ve even been advised that taking them further afield would likely require going by car (I don’t mind that at all, and have safety belt attachments for them).
