Warmer climate in winter, Europe

I’d like to spend every January to March somewhere warmer than U.K. preferably in Europe.

Then, Southern Spain, Southern Portugal and Cyprus are your best options. You could also try Southern Italy but there aren’t many sittings there. It will be difficult to fill that length of time with back to back sits. There are not so many listings but accommodation is cheaper.
My base is Southern Spain and I escape from the heat in summer. Last year, I spent most of the summer in Scotland and this year, Germany, Alaska and Seattle.

South coast of Spain or the Canaries is probably best at that time of year.

Problem is that THS has many more members in the UK than in other parts of Europe. And that many of those feel the same way as you.

It should be easier on Nomador, which has many members in France.

Welcome @Folkestone
The best guaranteed weather in Europe is in the canaries. Having lived on Lanzarote the winter weather usually hits low 20’s. I remember getting a flight back to the UK for Christmas when I lived there and the taxi driver taking me to the airport pointing out it was 23c that day…I landed in -2c!

I’ve spent the last 2 Januaries on the Algarve for a sit. The weather is changeable at this time of year. I had 13-15c many days and rain but 2 days reached 20c.
I also spent time when my Dad who lived in Javea (Southern Spain) in winter. Again it’s much warmer than the UK but most days hitting mid teens with 18/19c possible.

Maybe Turkey? Let’s ask @Cuttlefish

Hello :wave:t3: well it depends where in Turkey TBH. Best place for good weather in Jan would be SW but it’s still jeans and T-shirts weather, not sunbathing Canaries warm :tr: We still sea swim then though & plenty of blue skies and sunshine. March is usually the coldest & wettest month of the whole year. #turkishtelegraphreport
