Hi everyone!
We’re Albert and Cami a Spanish-Argentine couple and digital entrepreneurs with a fitness-focused lifestyle.
We’ve spent over a year traveling across Europe house-sitting through TrustedHousesitters, and we absolutely love the community.
We’ve stayed in various places across Spain and England; we’re currently in Bristol and heading to Dublin soon.
We’ve met wonderful people some of whom have become friends and we adore pets. We definitely plan to keep doing this for years to come.
Best regards, Albert and Cami
Hi Yeni, thank you so much.
We love Bristol, we love England and the UK.
We love the people and the places, we’re having a great time this summer.
We need to come back and experience it in the winter, too.
Where are you from?
@AlbertandCami Nice photo, great moment! Wishing you many great sits while having a good business and great lifestyle My partner Gerard and I are working, studying and preparing for our business while doing house and pet sitting while travelling. So grateful for this possibility and helpful community.
@AlbertandCami, delighted to hear that you are enjoying the experience.
The housesitter community seems extremely diverse in terms of personal situations, listing preferences and housesitting objectives. But there’s a common bond around pets and travel - as you rightly noted.
We hear that it’s been very hot in Bristol recently. Stay cool!
Hope enjoy Dublin - we explored a listing there quite recently but a Scottish listing won the day. Next time.
Enjoy the journey.
Aww, we love connecting with people who do the same thing.
We might not have crossed paths in Dublin, though haha, we’re based in Bristol and are heading to Dublin on August 6th; we’re looking at the 6th or 7th.
Are you living in Dublin full-time now?
Thanks! We’re surprised by the temperatures in London and Bristol, up to 36 degrees! We’re from Northern Argentina and Alicante, Spain, so we love the heat; we had expected it to be a bit cooler in England, but we love the sunshine and are really happy about it.
As I mentioned earlier, we’ll have to come back in winter to see the contrast and keep improving our English.
Take care, and I hope you enjoy your trip through Scotland, too.
Christine and Gerard, I was looking at your beautiful profile, thanks for the good vibes.
All the best to you both, I love seeing what you do.
We have a YouTube channel too.
You could start one for when you travel, cheers, guys.

@AlbertandCami, thank you. Enjoyed a super visit to Scotland - we’ve periodically explored Scotland. In future, reasonable listings permitted, we’ll spend summer time highlands/islands of Scotland. But not this year - we’re mostly booked until early 2027.
To give context to our applause of your efforts then we’ve used THS to spend meaningful time in perhaps 20 countries. Would have to count, but was 10 in 2025 and quite a bunch the prior couple years. It has also allowed us spend extended time to test our appetite to live in selected future geographies - an active plan.
As early retirees, our hair is rather more grey than yours. But the sense of opportunistic adventure, pet pleasure and social engagement is aligned. Housesitters seems to have widely varying objectives - none wrong. For us, and seeming yourselves, it is provides a pathway to affordable travel and a means of meeting interesting people. Happy days
Robert Frost ‘Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference’.
No, but I live in a different part of Ireland and come to Dublin quite often. Won’t be there in the beginning of August though. Enjoy your time in Ireland! It is a very special place, I promise.
Welcome to the forum!
I’m Spanish too, currently sitting in Portugal and I will be sitting in Dublin in August.
Like @GotYourBack, I am an early retiree, grey hair, too
Unlike you, I tend to avoid the heat. I have been doing so for the last few summers. I would not normally be in the peninsula at this time of year but I fell in love with these two cats and Porto is certainly cooler than Granada or even Almerimar, where I have been half settled for a few months.
Hi Cami and Albert! Iride and Damián from Argentina here, too. We’ve also been travelling around Europe for a year using the app, and everything is going really well.
Do you work for online charities? My partner and I do something similar.
Nice to meet you!
Hola Cami y Albert! Por acá Iride y Damián de Argentina también. Estamos también hace un año viajando con Europa con la app y viene todo muy bien.
Trabajan en caridades online? Con mi pareja hacemos algo similar
Un gusto conocerlos!
