I see that when I apply for a sit and include a link to my website it is removed automatically. Is there a way to share a link in the application that won’t get expunged?
According to this page, it says it may be because you have opened the link yourself? 
If that’s not working, maybe ask support or consider just popping the link on your profile instead?

Try just spelling it out, like www dot thisismywebsite dot com.
