What are you watching?

We are almost at the end of series one of three of this Greek Drama (English subtitles) and are loving it.

The story , acting, locations, and music are all 10/10

Definitely up there with the best we have ever seen on Netflix

We highly recommend it!

We’re currently watching ‘Breeders’ on Netflix.

Any parent will identify with the issues raised in this series, I think! Brilliant performances by Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard.

Woman of the Hour kept us glued to our seats for the duration.

We’re looking forward to seeing the final season, 4, of My Brilliant Friend, and rewatching. some of the earlier seasons. I intend to subscribe to MAX to watch it.

I’m looking forward to watching A Man on the Inside on Netflix. It stars Ted Danson who plays Charles, a retired professor who gets a new lease on life when a private investigator hires him to go undercover inside a San Francisco retirement home.

I just finished this documentary. Utterly fascinating

Just finished watching this, such a sweet series and apparently based on a true story.

We are just wrapping up a sit between Chester and Wrexham and the HOs have Disney+ so we felt we had to have a go at watching this. We are more Rugby than football but have been pleasantly surprised, the humour helps . We also had to do the tourist bit and take a visit while we were here. The town is definitely still a work in progress!

@Sam_F you might be interested in Dr Michael Salla and his channel Exopolitics on Rumble. Full of UFO content. He’s been nominated as an informant for the new USA administration. Fascinating man and plenty of videos to watch. :cowboy_hat_face:

Oh wow, I have recently wrapped up a sit between Chester and Wrexham too! Actually fell in love with Wrexham a little so will check this out and see if I can recognise any sights.

Oh wow, I really should remember to put up on the meetups, I always remember after the event! Where are you off to next @strawberryjen ?

Heading home to Scotland for Christmas next, how about you?

Yes, would have been lovely to meet up. I managed to join a meditation and line dancing classes while I was there!

We keep saying we should try to find Line or Scottish country dancing wherever we are but get distracted and forget to look . We are in County Durham for a few days, then have a sit just outside Bedale in North Yorkshire for 10 days before working our way back south to Sudbury and finally a Christmas sit just outside Chichester. Its as far south as we can get for the warmer temperatures this year :sunglasses: until we head off to New Zealand for 10 weeks.

Amazing, you definitely have variety in your house sits! I used to live in Durham (Shotley Bridge) as well as Richmond, N. Yorks, both such beautiful areas (sadly, never lived in New Zealand though!) Enjoy your Southern Christmas, perhaps our paths will cross next time you’re in Cheshire! :santa:

Has anyone started watching the cheesy Christmas films that often pop up on streaming services at this time of year?

I watched a couple with Lindsay Lohan (I’m a millennial, I’m loving her “comeback”) and while they’re kind of schmaltzy, they make for nice easy viewing

Too funny, I actually did a sit last year in a tiny town between Chester & Wrexham, and watched all the Wrexham episodes too  We were actually very close to where Ryan & Blake apparently bought a house

@Nagy26 I watched “Hot Frosty” at the weekend  it was TERRIBLE :scream: what were the runners-up for worst Hallmark Christmas movie? I’ll end up watching them

Hmm let’s see… ‘Christmas in the Square,’ Meet ‘Me Next Christmas’ and ‘The Merry Gentlemen’ were some top choices. I lasted about 30 seconds for Christmas in the Square
