I no longer have my dog but when I did, just seeing her every minute of every waking moment made my entire world shine. A love I’ve never felt before, apart from my own human child of course. It’s a little less shiny now she has gone which is why I sit, to get a little of that ordinary, every day, non judgmental, innocent, unadulterated love in return, if only for a little while
Me too Ziggy. Dogs never wake up and decide they don’t love you any more. They are so loyal and loving. Best friends in the world. It’s my birthday today and we got out at 6.00 am to seize the day together. She does wonders for my cholesterol and blood pressure readings! Averaging 13,000 steps this week ! As she’s on heat I’m not taking any chances with Luna!

Might be difficult then as I get back home from this current trip late 7th May, have someone coming early 8th May to dig out a border in my garden and then going with @Debbie to meet @ziggy Saturday or Sunday in Bath. I’m sure we can catch up at some stage as we didn’t make the last try
We love seeing dogs that exhibit carefree happiness. No pulling leash. No anxiety. No avoiding people/pets. No concerns at all. Just happy times. Woof . We’ve housesit quite a few such dogs and met plenty on our travels. Always makes us smile.
Thanks Jenny! I am on the crest of a wave at present in the loveliest sit location and pet ! My unbirthday gift from Luna however is hard to deal with! She usually “drops” for a biscuit treat but not this time!
