The ability to see how may sits a sitter has done that a review wasnāt submitted for. Same for HOās as well, how many sitters havenāt left them a review. I realize there can be many reasons for this but if there is an obvious trend with a sitter or HO, it would be good information to have.
@bornonthecoast you can already see hosts with missing sitter reviews- but only on the App not the website.
Of course itās only on the app. Frustrating how there isnāt the same functionality on the site as the app.
Essential information for me is how close is the nearest supermarket/market/grocery store? Almost no homeowners include this basic info.
I think it should be standard for the sit start and end times are 12 pm, noon. And if the HO wants you earlier or later that has to be in description. I have HOs that think I should arrive before 8 am and leave in the evening. And also it should clearly state how long the pets can be left alone. I was just on a sit and she wanted me to notify if neighbor if I wanted to go out for a dinner longer than 2 hours.
Iāve done that a couple of times and the HO was glad for the help and made them feel less nervous about engaging their first sitters ![]()
I think it would be fantastic if the app/site would allow for an option to put HomeOwners in a āDonāt Showā option. I see the same people pop up over and over for similar dates, and quite frankly, itās clogging my feed. I am also suspect when people constantly pop up with opporunties at very similar dates over and over. It has happened a few times, and I would love to be able to flag the profile or at least get them out of my feed. It works for dating, why not for pets?
I think there is a need for āLakeā as a search filter. I have a saved search with āBeachā as a filter. Arkansas USA (landlocked) just came up.
While lakes have beaches I think of beach as seaside. Iād to narrow in.
BTW the Arkansas sit looks very nice.
This! My alerts keep showing me the same sits that are not a good fit. I try to check alerts quickly because great ones fill up yet itās annoying and time consuming to be interrupted (multiple times) for ones that I am not interested in. Iād love a ānot a fitā or ādonāt show againā button.
I still want to see an āadditiveā search function for types of animals.
Specifically, I love farm sits with lots of animals. But it I type in āhorsesā I get sits with ONLY horses; if I type in horses and dogs (most farms have many different animals), most of the results will come back with just dogs since the search doesnāt āaddā the two together.
This makes it impossible to do a meaningful search for what I want, and I wind up having to just scroll through everything.

A key for the availability calendar to explain the different colours. (have been requesting this for years).
A different colour than yellow for the references in a listing.
Both references and reviews are yellow, and a very similar shape. I think there should be more distinction between the two as reviews carry more weight than references.
In view of membership expiry dates and the potential problems this could bring could THS show the date of joining and the expiry date in a memberās listing? This topic has recently been raised in a different thread.
On the āFind a Sitā filters, we should be able to click āno petsā in ADDITION to the other options. As it is now, one has to search āno petsā separately to all of the other options.
