What’s Your Favourite Movie To Watch Over The Christmas Holidays? 🎥🍿

Home alone 1 or 2 watch it every year I’m in my seventies but still a big kid at heart.

Just reviving this thread seen as it’s that time of year! :christmas_tree:

I’m going to watch Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas later on this evening. I’ve never seen it before so I’m looking forward to watching it. I’ll also watch one of my favourites, Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.

What movies will others be watching over the holidays?

I absolutely love The Nightmare Before Christmas.

But generally, I gravitate towards short,TV-adaptation ghost stories. Christmas should be all about the spooks, IMO.

PS Are you actually allowed to find It’s a Wonderful Life … Well, pukey? I worship and adore James Stewart, but that one….. Nah. Give me The Bishop’s Wife any day.

@DieFledermaus The Nightmare Before Christmas was brilliant and I especially loved the music! :musical_note:

I am NOT a fan of cheesy Hallmark movies especially Christmas ones. I went to a play on the 24th called
‘The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical’. It was brilliantly hilarious!

Not really into Christmas movies, but I find “Olive the Other Reindeer” fun in spite of the weird animation style. The story is cute and clever.
Olive the Other Reindeer (1999)

I have in the past watched “The Sound of Music” as my go-to holiday movie. Lost count of how many times I’ve seen that. “Avatar” is a favourite special-occasion movie. New Year’s, birthday…

Are there any survivors here of the Star Wars Holiday special…?
Once, but never again!!! :face_with_spiral_eyes:
