:frowning: :disappointed_relieved:h, I so remember those days. Enjoy them because when there is no longer a greeting…:frowning:

Yup. It can be hard to imagine losing a pet, but also helpful so we don’t take them for granted.

Personally, I often think — whether with my dog or others’ pets — that we humans aren’t deserving enough for the depth of loyalty and love that pets show us.

We had a dog who would pee a little because she was frantically excited to see us when we came home. She crossed over to doggy heaven 6 years ago at the age of 16 and I still think about her and miss her dearly. She’s still my computer wallpaper photo even though I have 3 kids.

I lost my Ziggydog in 2018 and have been on the road house-sitting fulltime since 2019. I carry her collar with me in my carry bag always, even when overseas, just so a little part of her is always with me. Gone but never forgotten :disappointed:
