If there is a general issue that affects many members it would not be feasible for MS to deal with all the correspondence if everybody with the issue contacted them. Of course, not everybody does. People wait, and get frustrated when a week later it still does not work.
There are quite a few members here that would be willing to participate in tests, to see if they got them when “tech” sent them a test alert. Then one could reply here in a poll, or click a thumbs up when they received it. And the other ones could reply with very general information about their system that it did not work for.
But maybe most technical issues are very personal, I don’t know.
