Quite apt that I am spending large chunks of my days this week in…A stable!
On the day before Xmas my pet owner gave to me:-
6 cute Alpacas.
5 friendly Sheep.
17 laying chickens
2 outdoor cats
and a red squirrel up a tree!!

Today I started my sit for 2 lovely cats, Margaret and Audrey. This will be my 8th time sitting for them. The HOs booked the building’s guest suite for me to stay in last night because they departed early this morning. They have left a lovely gift bag of fancy goodies for me to nosh on. I have booked in to see 4 plays during my 5 day stay. The girls are currently having a snooze. Alas, Toronto has minimal snow presently. It would have been nice for Christmas but what can you do?

That’s the way, uh huh, uh huh, I like it. 
The Alpacas are comical, but no table manners at all when I come in to their pen carrying a big tub of their Muesli like meal.

My husband and I are on a sit in Las Vegas. Staying in a luxury condo a block off the strip with amazing views and two easy cats. Lovely sunset shot my husband took from the balcony the other day…

Not a Christmas sit this year although I’ve done many of them. Home for Christmas day - ended a sit with a dog, 2 cats and 9 chickens on Xmas eve, starting with a pair of dogs on boxing day (did I get that right - day after?).

A sit with THS with my first rabbit. In fact there are two of them. The sit is in a popular tourist area. A good friend and her son and his kids rented an Airbnb close by so spending Xmas day with them. We are all Jewish btw, ha. So eating our traditional Hanukkah foods, can’t wait! Rabbits seem to be an easy sit. Feed in am and pm. They said they like music so playing music of my generation which I don’t think they are use to since PP in their 20’s. Look how cute he is! Full grown.

We are back in Paphos, Cyprus, caring for two very low-maintenance cats.
We are here for a month, and yesterday we were accepted for another month-long sit, for a couple who live ten minutes walk from our current sit!
So we are sorted here now until the end of February.
We have Karyo’s 79-year-young mum with us for our current sit, she will go home at the end of January, at which time we will have to start feeding ourselves again!
