I lived in the French region of Switzerland from 2000-02 2 hours east of Geneva in the Alps. I wanted to go to Annecy then yet only made it to Chamonix which is also gorgeous.

We are hoping for a sit in Cornwall in 2024. Never been but at the top of our bucket list! Love to know best time of year to visit, and best areas to stay.

@lmhale it depends what you are looking for; rugged coastline (Tintagel …King Arthur territory), touristy beach (St Ives)… all of Cornwall is beautiful, you can’t go wrong. Cornwall is known for its stunning golden beaches and beautiful light. Many artists live there and you will find amazing galleries everywhere. I’ve stayed there several times and never disappointed. You will need a good waterproof and walking shoes wherever you stay. Let me know an area you’re thinking of and I’ll tell you if I know it. :slightly_smiling_face:
