Just arrived at a repeat sit for three lovely indoor/outdoor cats. Found one indoors and she immediately came out from under a guest bed and rubbed herself all over my legs. Yippee!
She was the most skittish when I sat the first time. Her humans couldn’t even find her for a while. Now, we’re friends. Makes me very happy.
Adding a photo two of the sweet kitties — basking in beautiful weather and light in San Francisco. Waiting on the third kitty to make his appearance. Happily, the second one remembered me, too. Came up for petting.
Doug is young and full of energy but very nervous of new people in the house. He is super excited for his walks, which is the best way to bond with him.
A sit with a difference as, not only do I have 2 inquisitive and affectionate Tonkinese cats and 4 chickens to look after, I have the opportunity to feed beautiful lorikeets and King Parrots, with one being hand fed. The magpies and various ground birds aren’t neglected either. Cockatoos are a nuisance and are deterred from eating at the feed stations by a squirt from a water pistol!

Back with one of our favorites, year 3 with Louie in North Carolina-USA. The kids and grandkids are nearby, we’ve made friends in the area, we even have library cards, it’s like home away from home.
Six weeks with Louie and then we travel back to Michigan. We are already scheduled to return next winter for our two repeat sits in the area.
One of my first sits was with a senior and junior pair of black labs in a 19 C castle in Somerset. (Can’t believe they selected me with only 2 or 3 reviews.) Tarka was about 3 years old, Teasal was 16. Folks still list a sit about once a year but Tarka is listed as 9 now and there is a 4 yo lab.
I am in Mississauga, ON, outside of Toronto. Easy access to my storage locker. So I cleaned out my car. Older, small poodle. I have to watch for coywolves when I let him out in the dark. Which is scary. Otherwise a nice sit in the cold temps.
