After googling different color eyes in dogs I learned that it is fairly common in dachshunds and a few other breeds as well. And that there are 3 kinds of heterochromia and that it is more common in dogs with dappled, merle or white coloring around their heads. So it makes sense that the daughter is heterochromic.

The current sit I am on in Scottish Borders has 12 acres of land. Beside ever gate through a field there are 2 fold up chairs. (I think for the owners parents when they walk their 2 little doggies).
At end of furthest field there is a little hut with a bench, a sun lounger, and a set of binoculars!
Here is the dog asking me Where are my cocktail sausage treats? He knows they are in my pocket.

We’re currently looking after 5 cats in a fabulous property in beautiful York.
3 of the cats are Devon Rex. This is a new breed experience for us and they’re just delightful; so gentle and laid-back.

My current pet sit - with a tortoise named Tort 
I’ve never before cared for a tortoise! I wasn’t even looking for a pet sit and got invited a day before as the owners were desperate nobody applied. I seized this opportunity to expand my experience!

@Nagy26 lucky you! I’ve been 3-4 times in my life. Your photos are beautiful and the flowers look good for this early in the season. I was there in early April 2022 in it was a much colder year and the flowers were not great yet. My sister visited two weeks later and it was already much better, lucky her
