in the multiple choice round after main quiz, to win £90, I had 3 entries, so I could split my guesses, I put his name on one of them, and he was “the last man standing”, beating myself, my team mate, and everyone else in pub, but not enough to win. 7/8 just not good enough.
..we took a quick ten minute bus ride to our second Exmouth sit , this time with two cats and an amazing sea view from just about every window in the property!
And great HO who leaves plenty of TP and paper towels. As much as it is nice to be in a large home, I close off as many doors as I can so I don’t have to clean them. But this house is so open that one sitting area goes to another sitting area, without doors.
Just started a week-long sit for first-time pet parents in a comfortable house with all the amenities and a great back deck and yard near Charlottesville, Virginia. A pair, Renly (M) and Sansa (F), of Yorkshire terriers who are pretty independent but come and go for attention. (I didn’t know how small they are - probably the smallest dogs I’ve sat, smaller even then the Chihuahuas.) A quintet of hens named after the Spice Girls.
Although there is large yard for the pups, they do need to be supervised and on lead in the yard as there is an eagle in the area that could easily grab either of them!
Adding pics of the Spice Girls and their produce - only been here 24 hours and already half-dozen eggs.
I tried to go out early this morning for a short walk, but had to go back in as a coyote started coming towards us. I actually thought he might have gotten in the garage before the door closed, but alas, he did not.
It went from the 60s (15/18 C) to 80s in a few days. Sunny, great views of the ocean now. I am not sure if I am walking the puppy too much. Miniature dachshund. 8 months. But trying to make sure she does her business outside. I think she just wants other dog social interaction, but we go out and she just stops. Just lays down on the grass, or middle of the road and looks around. She has grass in the backyard. I leave the door open and she goes in and out all the time. No accidents or body produced gifts since the first day. Luckily she weighs a few pounds so I pick her up and walk. Then put her down again. If she sees a dog, she will run to meet it. So I think she is just desperate for canine social interaction. No dog runs. Just people walking around with their dogs.
