Why wont you add a 3+month search option!?

I have been Full time house sitting for over 5 years, I have asked this question here, I have emailed trusted myself directly. I have seen this question asked multiple times a year here for over 5 years. I have given up on trusted allowing us to search for sits with a 3+ month option, it would make a huge difference! Trusted is the only house sitting platform that doesn’t have this option. Could someone with trusted please just let me know why you wont add this, I understand despite it being requested time and time again that you will not add this. But please, can you just tell me why? What is the reason for this? I will not be renewing my membership unless this question is answered. Just please say why lol

Why have you put this in the sitter category?

If you’re expecting, or even hoping that THS will respond in a meaningful way with an action and not “your suggestion has been passed to customer services” you’re going to be disappointed. Have you emailed THS directly asking about a 3+ month search option and did you receive a reply?

@mzb it’s a great idea which forum members have been asking for this for years

However THS member services don’t read the forum - so you would have to e-mail them for your message to reach them .

Thanks for raising this with us. We’ve made a small update to the search based on your feedback. You can now search for sits up to 3 months in duration!

You can also set both minimum and maximum duration ranges so that you can search more flexibly, for example, 1–3 months, 3–6 months, or 3 months+.

We’ve also added a new filter under “More filters” so you can easily find sits where you can bring your own pet.

This change is only available on the web at the moment, but there will. be an app update to come.
