As we are some lucky < bleep > who are now working and travelling, we are now specifically looking for nice places and long duration sits.
We love pets, even a farm is on our bucket list, but not for a longer sit in this situation.
The thing is: is it possible to make an extra filter, to be able to filter on the duration of the sits. This would make it so much easier to find an appropriate fit. I also think this would be easier for people looking for shorter sits, especially when you start to build up your 5* reviews.

That already exists. It says duration and you can set it to over 6 months and it will only bring up sits 6 months or longer. I sometimes use it for one week or under.
You know you can filter by 1 day and 3 days, a week, a month, and then 6 months or do you mean more than that @EmilyDickinson? We’re like you so always looking for longer sits. House Sit Search which looks at all the platforms is handy to check in on too. #digitalnomadding

Thanks for your reply. Sometimes there are no six-month sits available, so in those cases I would like to be able to choose a minimum sit of three months.
At the moment, I can only filter by sits of at least one month, at least three months, or at least six months. Once I have selected one of these options, it would be very helpful if the results could then be sorted by duration, with the longest sits shown first. That would make it much easier than having to check the dates and work out the length of each sit individually.
@EmilyDickinson, we find that THS Saved Searches are a primary method of identifying listings of potential interest. THS permits up to 50 Saved Searches.
While THS searches have no sort function then suggest that you create one or more Saved Searches (eg per geographic area) for minimum one month duration. We do this. Vast majority of listings are shorter than one month duration. Not perfect solution but doable workaround.
At the moment, we are quite flexible regarding location, so our primary focus is the length of our stay and the kind of pets of course.
This is simply a wish we wanted to share on this platform, as perhaps other people would appreciate this option too.
Of course, it is not the end of the world.
