So this one is weird…
I just read my review from the sit that ended 2 days ago and an entire star category is missing!
Present: Organized, Reliable, Self-sufficient, Clean & tidy.
Missing: Happy pets (normally appears as 5th category).
Then I double-checked the review I had left for the HO and a category is missing there too.
Present: Communication, Hospitality, Cleanliness, Accuracy of listing
Missing: Pet behaviour (normally appears as 4th category)
Owner and I completed reviews yesterday @MaggieUU and all categories are present. A silly question but are pets actually listed in the listing? I know I have seen listings advertised with no pets marked but reading the listing is another story as there were definitely pets to be looked after!
Good question. 2 Westies (OMG, I loved them). Listed and 2 dog icons noted. So doesn’t explain it. I am aware that @Maggie8K just finished a sit too so waiting to see if hers had all categories. I am perplexed. Thanks for checking @temba
So, the responses prompted me to delve further. The listing (2nd shot) indicates 2 dogs. However, in the past sits section of my account(1st shot), this sit has no pet icons. So it explains why those particular star categories are missing but not the incongruence. I suspect the first-time HO must have tinkered with something on their end. I am not pursuing further so will mark as solved now.
The housesit involved a dog and a cat. The review we got and the review we left are missing the “pet“ category. The past sit showed a sit without pets, the listing shows the pets. Something is wrong here.

This is something that should be fixed ASAP, as it’s important to document experience with pets and to make the wording in the review consistent with categories.
We found two reviews yesterday for a sit with pets, but with only four categories reviewed from their past two sitters. Pet care is missing off the list. Surely that’s the most crucial one of all of them? #fivesawinner
Yes, the missing category was previously reported and the team is aware of the issue. I haven’t received any follow-up. @Cuttlefish , thanks for the additional information.
I had marked as solved shortly after creating the thread when it was seemingly a one-off quirk. I have now removed that as it is now glaringly an on-going issue.
I am unsure whether this is of interest to those that are ‘looking into this glitch’ …
I experienced this missing pet category on a sit that finished March 1st. I just looked at the listing because I knew the HO was having another sitter at the end of April. The pet category is again missing from the reviews on both the sitter and HO sides. So the issue appears to be listing specific.
