App Pet Behavior Missing for Review

I’m trying to do my review of my very 1st Housesit I just completed yesterday using the app on my iPhone. I received an email that the HO already completed our review. First it told me the window was closed so I closed the app and reopened it and then it allowed me to start my review. Then I decided to look at the overall review before I hit submit, and thankfully, I did not just submit because the stars for Pet behavior are completely missing. I went back and read went through all of the steps to make the review and still the Pet behavior rating line item will not show up for me. I guess I’ll have to wait to get to my computer and see if it will work correctly. What the heck? Here are screenshots of the two errors. I sent an email to support so they know this problem exists.

Very occasionally turning your phone through 90° from vertical to horizontal will allow you to enter info more easily. No idea why though.

My spidey senses tell me that this is THS’s attempt to fix a problem with a very sporadic issue where pet categories went missing. Now they have got the stars there but one cannot fill them in. #mybookingfeesareforwhatagain?

Verschlimmbesserung, my current favourite word.

@Maeve this was a problem on March 3 per @maggieuu post linked above and still continues. What could be done to get this fixed in a more timely fashion? Clearly it’s a big deal. Thank you.

@MTBer ,

The team has been aware of the Pet behaviour category not showing — it was reported in the past — and I’ve reported your recent experience with the stars not populating.

It’s not quite the same problem. I didn’t even have the pet category nor stars show. As I said it seems like they have partially addressed it because now at least the category shows.

Being able to review pet behaviour would seem to be an essential element for a site that promotes itself as pet centred (and irritatingly still calls us “pet parents”) So how can this “hiccough” even be allowed to happen (and not just once)?

Oh, and just out of interest for those of us either participating in, or simply reading, forum posts, when moderators use the generic terms such “they’ve passed it on to/been advised by the team”, to whom are they referring? And, again just out of interest, how large/small is/are this/these “team/s”? Just wondering

Thank you for your help :folded_hands:t4:

Update: I was able to successfully complete the review on my computer. The app on the phone issue is not resolved.

Hi again @maeve. We just completed a trip and our Sitters have given us a review. The Pet Behavior line item is completely missing which means they did it on their cell phone. What do I need to do (or do they have to do) to get this resolved and include the Pet Behavior line item? Thank you for your help. Here is a screenshot of their review of our house sit. I don’t think I’m allowed to show what they wrote so I scratched almost all of it out, except for the part about my good pets which would lead one to believe they would have given five stars, if given the opportunity to rate them.

@MTBer ,

Sorry to see that this isn’t fixed yet. As you know, this problem has been relayed to the tech team.

I recommend you contact Membership Services directly about this, as the Forum is only able to pass feedback along to the appropriate department. To access Membership Services through the chat, click here , and ask Frankie, the bot, to speak to a human or a live person.

After contacting the support folks via email, and explaining the problem, they fixed the pet behavior category on The review left for my house sit by my house Sitter and added Per Behavior stars in with five :star: based on the words used in the review from my Sitter. Will be interesting to see if they’ve actually fixed the problem or simply my particular Sitter review upon request. If anyone notices, please let me know. I don’t have another reviewer from a sitter coming up for a long time (and it might be a while before I actually do another sit myself to see for myself during the review time from the app).
