Hm, that’s odd! I wonder if the ability to edit our usernames is a recent addition, and those who created their forum account earlier don’t have that option? Hope you’re able to get it changed using @Snowbird’s suggestion.

Morning everyone and here’s the lowdown on changing usernames in the Discourse forum:
You can change the username yourself up to 90 days after joining, then it must be changed by a moderator or admin. Discourse (our forum provider) consider it bad practice to keep changing user names and so set a limit.
If you are within the limit then you will see a pencil edit mark as shown in the screenshot below:
This is found in the dropdown on your user icon (top right banner):
- then click the “head and shoulders” icon
- then PREFERENCES
Hey Pamela, My 2 cents is to rearrange your profile photos and have your current 2nd photo as the first one a potential HO would see.
If applying for a sit with cats, you could also switch it to the one with the cat giving you a kiss (so cute).
