An unchanged date is preventing me from applying to new sits

Hi Sitters!

Has anyone ever been able to change their dates after a confirmed sit, or is this that something only the HO is able to do?

I’m in the middle of a sit with a lovely couple; we confirmed dates and then they contacted me and changed the dates/shortened the sit. I was fine with that, and they said they weren’t computer-savvy enough to change them, but they’d keep trying do it. I thought nothing of it…but now I need to travel to check on an ill relative-and want to apply for sits near them. But I can’t because it looks like I’m busy it another sit lol

Alas, my HOs are abroad and having a ball, but still don’t know how to change dates and tbh, most probably aren’t focusing on it, lol!

What can I do? Of course, Frankie can’t assist and I can’t even contact potential sits to explain, so I can apply. Advice: get those date changes done in the app before the HOs leave :roll_eyes:

Because the sit has begun, it can now only be changed by THS. Contact support@trustedhousesitters.com. They will need to verify that both the HOs and sitter are in agreement with the new dates.
