Just checking out the latest sits (on the website) and the listings aren’t showing the type and number of pets.
I am seeing that as well.
Someone posted on the Facebook page that it was happening in the app as well.
Maybe it’s a new feature: “Surprise the Sitter!” Will it be a llama? Ten puppies? Three kittens? Or maybe a SNAKE! ![]()

Or maybe they will charge us extra for the information ![]()
Yup, I noticed this just today as well. I’m on the app. I hope it’s just a glitch that will be fixed soon. It’s a pain to have to click on every sit to find out what pets they have.
As if it didn’t already take way too much time for sitters to search for sits I now see that the icons listing the type of pets at a sit are no longer appearing underneath the listing on the search page. So now we have to open up every single sit we might like to explore to see if there’s too many pets??? Some of these sits are ridiculous amounts of work and I personally am able to vet them out by seeing an icon for way too many types of pets below. I also won’t sit for more than 2 cats so now I have to open the sit to see if it’s 1 or 7 cats??? This company seems to have little to no respect for sitters. Yet another reason to not renew my membership this year. Which I am not going to. So sick of this stuff. It has honestly become an unpaid job for sitters at this point.
Fyi, I’ve passed this over to the team to make them aware.
Update: This is a known bug and the tech team will be working to fix it.
It’s like a Sephora Mystery Box
Next up: Location… Puff. Gone! Visa? Passport? Maybe… maybe not ![]()
I’m curious why the ‘bugs’ that pop-up never seem to make things better? You’d think that sometimes ‘playing’ with the code would make things better.
That needs fo be fixed ASAP. Good thing the team has already noticed it.
Great news… thank you!
Hope this ‘glitch’ gets fixed soon! ![]()

Oh good to hear as I just emailed them about it too. If that was a “new” feature, I’m not sure I could renew my membership as I’d be spending hours trying to find sits ![]()
My guess is they have been messing about with the resolution of the images. Some don’t appear to show correctly and they appear larger to me. Perhaps it has made the important information we require drop off the bottom.
Whatever it is surely these things are tested before implementation.
Would it be better to mark the issue as resolved when it has been resolved?
please notify when solved; I’m not gonna waste my time checking the listings until the icons are visible again
how is this marked as “solution”?!
Hi everyone,
Please don’t direct your frustration at Maeve - it was me who marked Maeve’s confirmation as the solution. My thinking at the time was that, since we don’t yet have a timescale for resolution, the best available answer was simply that the team are investigating and working on it.
I can see now that this might not have been the most helpful choice in this context, so I’ve removed it after considering the feedback given in the thread.
If we get any updates on what’s happening, or an idea of when the issue will be resolved, I’ll be happy to come back and share them here.
Thanks for your understanding,
Jenny
Hi everyone,
I’ve had confirmation that the issue is now resolved. Thanks for your patience while we looked into this.
