Another saved search notification glitch + photos now too small

Is this my browser or is anyone else having trouble?
On my phone, website version not the app, when I click on the “saved search” notification e-mail, after going through the 2FA ( ) I get, instead of the saved search page, a generic “what’s it like sitting for Trusted Housesitters?” text page. I have to click on “find a housesit” and then “saved searches” and select it to get to the listings.

I tried going through the latest notification on my laptop and got the same page. When I went to “saved searches” I got a “403 Forbidden” error. It had a ridiculous length of random letters/numbers after it: “39eio44053lmno3…” kind of thing. When I deleted the excess, I finally got the saved search page. If this is happening for any of those hotspots where sits are into “reviewing” in minutes, you’re out of luck after going through all that.
Is it just me…?

Also, unrelated but has been bugging me for a while: what has happened to the photo pages? When I look at listing photos, they are now small squares and take up a very small amount of the screen. Didn’t they use to be, well, larger?? On the phone, again the website, they are completely useless at that size and can’t be zoomed properly.

Yes, I’ve been taken to that generic page rather than my saved searches as well. It’s happened the last twice.

OK, maybe a system glitch in general then. Always good to know it’s not my “older” equipment

And I’ve just discovered the app no longer works at all because my OS is too old for an update.
*le sigh *

Same.

And I’m also not fond of the new photo format

Hi @ABGM and I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Just to let you know that I have passed this across to the relevant team and I will update you once I hear back from them.

Thank you. Tonight’s efforts brought frozen pages (same page as above), and “not repsonding” hangups from my browser. Edge, if that helps any. It almost looked like THS got hacked.

Hi @ABGM you are very welcome and thank you for the update which I have also passed across to the team.

Same here.

And again, just now.

In tonight’s edition of “trying to see my saved searches”, I tried Firefox, got the same “what’s it like” page, with the added fun of it seizing the entire browser, not just the tab. Had to ctrl-alt-delete-“end process” to get out of it. Then my whole laptop hung with an “explorer.exe” error, and I had to do another ctrl-alt-delete to look at what was running. Not gonna use those links again. Getting a wee bit scary trying to visit the site.
@Sam_F… you sure y’all haven’t been hacked…?

[insert obligatory snark about booking fees enabling a new and improved experience]

Hi @ABGM and thank you for tagging me to your post.

Just to let you know that I have heard back from the team and the bug you described has now been fixed.

Please do let me know if you have any further issues regarding this.

Sam.

I’ve just had a ‘saved search’ notification email and the link took me straight through to my saved search so it does look as if it’s now working normally.

I have sent 4 applications in the last 2 days, none of which have been read, which is very unusual. Could this be due to the glitch?

I also agree with not liking the new “photo format”. I continue to wonder why THS keeps so called “fixing” things that aren’t broken just for the sake of change whereas the items we would love to see fixed or improved aren’t being improved on.

Hi @Nofurbabies and thank you for the update. I am pleased to hear that this issue has been fixed and is now working correctly for you.

Have followed notification links a couple of times and it appears to be working again here too. Thanks.

Saved search glitch revisited

I’m on the website version. Got notification, clicked e-mail link, still had to sign in, wait for login page to load, back to e-mail for sign-in code, THS page loads as “something went wrong” with links only to home or dashboard. So, have to go to home page, “find a housesit”, then to “saved searches”, then to the location and look through listings from there.
So the notification, once again, is not going to the “saved search” page for the location.

Anyone else…?

Yep! Been happening with me for months.
