Hello, I am a HO who love all my THS reGular sitters and always look for new folks to add . Having both been a sitter of litties and also an HO member, I was wondering if there is a way to recognize, give props to or just seriously acknowledge somehow on the THS site a fantastic, reliable and incredible sitter who stuck it out during Hurricane Helene in Asheville until we could get back ? She went above and beyond which didn’t surprise me yet, I must do more to give her accolades ? Appreciate any and all thoughts, Vikki

That would be the review you give her. 
It was a thing in the past (awarded by THS).
We now rely on the review system to mention when homeowners and sitters go above and beyond.

Hello - I have been a member for over 10 years and love the HO/sitter community. I am just looking for special accolades other then a usual fantastic review. My reason is that this sitter stayed with our cats thru Hurricane Helene in NC with no water, power, internet or bare cell service insisting that we just take a week at a time during a 2 month stay. We rightly so determined that we should come home as these services were slow to come back. It has been 4 weeks in WNC and we still don’t have potable water.
I don’t need to do any more drill down on this forum - I was just looking to see if there was an ‘attagirl’ recognition award- thanks, no more feedback needed.
She is already scheduled to come back in January… hoping we have potable water by then !

So in answer to your question @VikkiD, there is no supersitter award provided by THS.
Perhaps it might be worth writing to THS privately for a feature to be written on the website on Hurricane Helene, and your sitter’s incredible perseverance? I’m not sure whether it would be done, but it’s worth a try, as it’s such a moving story.
On another note, thank you for wanting to go above and beyond to show your gratitude for such an incredible sitter. This is so refreshing to read, since we see so many horror stories on these forums
