Being asked to sign a contract as a sitter?

Just read a listing with a ton of demands that finished that the HO wanting the sitter to sign a contract. Never seen this before. I’d never agree with such as a free sitter.
Anyone else seen this before?

That HO…they will never find a sit on here. Hopefully no one on this site is dumb enough to do that.

If they want someone to sign a contract, they can pay $100/day/pet and all expenses to get there and back home…off of THS.

They have 2 applicants so far. :hushed:

well let those 2 sitters figure it out for themselves if they think it’s a good idea. Pass, pass pass!

Something for everyone.
I’m sure there are people who prefer such rigidity and structure.
Some of us have escaped

THS used to provide a contract form. It is still on the site somewhere.

And a HO recently had a thread where he used a “Memorandum of Understanding”, a term which i would associate with mergers of big companies or with international treaties…

Thanks @pietkuip didn’t know THS had such.

@richten1 the 2 applicants probably applied in a rush to be one of the first 5 and didn’t read the details!

@richten1 is it the THS one or another one ?

The Homeowner may believe it’s mandatory since it comes from THS website .

Thanks @Silversitters. Not sure as the HO just says a contract must be signed.
