Not sure if this is a site-wide change or just a limited beta-type thing, but the dashboard has been changed, and you can no longer edit and view your profile directly from it. When doing a ‘profile preview’ from this part of the site, you would see the actual URL of your profile.
When doing a ‘profile preview’ from the ‘Profile’ section, the ‘preview’ never showed the URL and it looks like it still doesn’t.
While someone could get their exact link by searching for sitters in the location they have noted on their profile, this might be difficult if they are in an area with large numbers of sitters. Some major cities for example, might have listings in the thousands.
If the plan is to limit profile viewing and editing to the actual ‘Profile’ section, it would be a good idea to make sure people can see the actual link somehow. I know people like to share this link directly for a variety of reasons. Also, some people change their location to match where they actually are in the moment or hope to go.
