I’m curious to know if any other sitters have encountered this - a first for me. I applied on a house sit last week to take care of two cats. The listing had previous reviews where the sitters mentioned looking after a puppy. There was no mention in the listing of a dog - only two cats. I only presumed the dog was no longer around. I received an email from the homeowner indicating her dog needed taking care of as well. I was shocked that she didn’t indicate this in her listing and found it very misleading so politely declined.
