No worries
I just didn’t want to confuse the other member
For The Win is my guess. She is from Serbia and appears to be a generation younger than me. I’m American and often have to look up abbreviations used by much younger friends
But its FWT, not FTW. I am so curious …
Chat GDP says this>
In the context you provided, “FWT” does not appear to be a standard acronym or abbreviation with a widely recognized meaning. However, based on the surrounding text, it seems like the speaker is expressing reluctance or hesitation (“I’m a big no on the money”), and they’re stating that they are unwilling (“I’m a FWT”) to part with their passport or driver’s license (DL) to someone.
Ah right. I didn’t pay attention to the return information. No idea.
@BunnyCat You had me laughing out loud! Thank you for keeping the topic on track. Please always share these types of things if you spot a thread getting derailed, a little bit of humour can go a long way
FWT = F*** With That. lol
Love the delicately worded summary. Spot on.
American and 46, since my profile location makes it misleading at a glance.
Ah OK, profile said Serbia. Now Mexico City. Assumed that Serbia was your primary home. Happy sitting
Is that an American thing? In the UK we would just say F*** that, no ‘with’
We use both, depends on the sentence. Humor bit: If you’ve seen GalaxyQuest, Sigourney Weaver’s character at The Chompers exclaims it and they had to do a bad dub of 'H***" in place of “F***” that is delightfully obvious.
Yeah, your post actually reminded me to update my profile now that I’ve changed continents again!
Okay, apologies everyone, back on track from now on.
