I find I can only enter exact dates for a sit. It would be helpful if those dates could show ‘exact dates only’ or +/- 1 day, 3 days or 7 days. Other travel websites have this funtionality. This could improve my chances of finding a Sitter. I travel by train or car and don’t make final reservations until after my Sitter is confirmed, so I can be a bit flexiblCould the website support this?

I’m not sure if this is something the website could support; however, you could state in the title of your listing that your dates are flexible by a few days.
As sitters, we typically pick a location and time frame we want to travel and look for sits that meet our criteria. We don’t make our travel arrangements until after we have confirmed a sit. We find we like it better that a HO already has their dates firm, but there are others who I am sure would appreciate the flexibility if they are filling in dates between sits.

this feature isn’t currently supported, but a lot of us are looking forward to the day when it is!
in the meantime, include an explanation of what your flexibility looks like somewhere in the listing’s description (and as @cheezymanders said, including “flexible” in the title can help too).
when setting the dates on your listing, I’d also suggest setting the total date range to the approximate duration you want to be away for. (for example, if your flexible dates range across a two-week span but you only intend to be away for 1 week, then set your dates for roughly only 1 week.) this will help ensure you’re getting applications from the right sitters!

They used to have this a really long time ago…I can’t remember exactly how it was noted though. Definitely something worth bringing back I think.
