Imagine my astonishment this morning when I looked out of the kitchen window on our latest house sit in France where we are looking after an outdoor feral family as well as the house cat. Dad staring back at me. Not sure who was more surprised… him at being caught or me wondering whether he thought the birds wouldn’t notice him! Needless to say he retreated very quickly
