Hi @kimshady it certainly is! Unfortunately the bridge was closed on our visit because of all the snow & icy conditions so we will have to do that another time.
Traces of late fall foliage in puddles in Glasgow while walking my sit dog.
I look for puddles and dropped food to keep her out of. She sniffs away and tries to spot dropped food before I do.

It’s fall again in the U.S. Took these a couple of days ago on my current sit.
I love when leaves turn colors. Anyone else have fall foliage photos to share?
My younger son took these photos as we drove past Tintern Abbey in South Wales yesterday. We loved the way the late afternoon sun was shining on the trees across the river in England, and that you could see the colours through the Abbey in Wales.
A photo I took this morning of the Tatra Mountains from the starting point of the Biela Vida hiking trail in Slovakia. ![]()

Wrapped up my latest pet sit with sweet, gentle Bentley. His family lives amid a gorgeous urban forest with a creek running through their enclave of custom homes in Portland, Oregon, in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. It was amazing to walk him through the fall foliage as it changed every day.
We also went on adventures in a bunch of neighborhoods and to the Oregon coast.
Hard to say goodbye to the lovable, companionable boy.
Did leaf-peeping across the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon today, including stopping by several waterfalls. The Gorge is a river canyon that runs about 80 miles long, up to 4,000 miles deep, in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
Included visiting a generations-old eatery nestled next to a beautiful park. Very Portland-like — indoor and outdoor seating, hipster music and vibe, including ice cream sundaes dressed to look like the forest floor. There were decorative meringue “mushrooms,” for instance. They served tasty meals, too, as well as dozens of microbrews.
Loads of people brought their pooches. Oregon is happily more dog friendly than many other parts of the U.S.
I love seeing the leaves change as well! I can’t wait to photograph more of the greenery before it’s gone! ![]()

Yup. We’re probably down to the last week or so in my part of the world.
