I am brand new and I cant even see any hearts to click on either my phone or browser to favorite, there are no hearts at all anyplace I can see? Does anyone know why I cant favorite anything? I am new, have paid for premium and my profile is live, last week. I contacted THS help line and they said they have to get to tech and they would email me back but havent heard yet and in the interim hopefully someone here knows? Thanks in advance. I am super excited to get going.

When you are searching for sitting opportunities, every listing will have a heart in the top right hand corner.
@Colin has pointed you in the correct direction. The heart colour was changed for some inexplicable reason by THS and is sometimes very hard to see. When you tap on it, it goes purple which then makes it much easier to see. As it is, it often blends in with the background so thatâs what makes it difficult. No idea why they changed to such a dumb colour, just another totally unnecessary change.
Personally I wouldnât bother favouriting sits because the chance of you being able to sit when dates are posted are probably minimal. The owners might not even contact you, although you should get a message when new dates are posted.
I find itâs better to set up saved searches for the places youâre interested in.
Thanks, I will use that for now but I am literally completely free after June 4th for the year so I think my chances of being available are high and would love to at least try to use that function.

Yet another weird bug in the THS user interface. I find this one very weird!

I donât have many marked as a favourite, but it is a useful feature. It is not acceptable that THS excludes some members from such services. (Same with the problem that some users never get push notifications in the app.)
Mine turn dark blue and sometimes I cant even see it due to pictures being to dark in that area.
I assume you joined as a sitter. if you just have a homeowner membership, maybe the âfavoriteâ option wouldnât be available.
If you are a sitter, it is very helpful to be able to âfavoriteâ listings. For a very popular location, getting a notification of new dates may be the only way you would be able to apply before the listing reaches 5 apps. Even that is not guaranteed, since the push notifications donât happen instantly once a listing goes live.
@Tam.ara , sorry if this is a stupid question, but did you actually sign up, created a sitter profile and are logged in when you check listings?

I can see that you have been in touch with Membership Services and they have noted it is a small glitch with your account and they are working on fixing it soon.

A friend of mine has virtually stopped using THS anymore as she as a HO can see that people have âed her but often when she messages them for a sit even though she sees they are available she finds it very difficult to actually get a sitter so it usually ends up being me or if I am away on a sit myself the cat hotel.
But that isnât the sitters issue, itâs the terrible calendar function and the fact that it only blocks out THS sits and not real life and other platforms. As has been discussed on here many times, invites rarely work, a brilliant listing with lots of pics and info is a much better chance for your friend (if there is no you or the cat hotel). #justforinfo
I had similar issue on the other side already. I put in available dates and where I lived and someone contacted me to do a sit, I didnât favorite it since I have no hearts lol. I am not there tho even though my calendar is open. I guess they can just ask but makes it messy and hard to unless you know when and where you will be. It would be complicated. I donât want to do a sit where I already have a house either so I think I will put in an area I plan to be at instead?
yes agree the calendar function is terrible and just doesnât seem to be something that THS can or is willing to really do anything about. One of the recurring issues since the community started. Also that stuff doesnât seem to synchronize between te App & the site
