Do any other hosts no longer have category ratings (communication, hospitality, cleanliness, pet behaviour, accuracy of listing) in reviews left for them for sits completed before May 2024?

Of my 34 sits, only those after May 2024 still have the category ratings. The others (25) just show an overall rating with no breakdown.

I have been in touch with membership support and was told that an update (presumably after May 2024) was responsible and that the change was intentional.

I’ve asked for an explanation of the rationale behind the decision and how it benefits both hosts and sitters but have reached something of an impasse as that information apparently isn’t available to the agent

Neither was an explanation of why the change only relates to reviews left for hosts; the categories in pre May 2024 reviews left for sitters remain visible and unchanged

I’m not asking anyone to speculate, just whether they too had noticed the change and been successful in receiving an explanation for the it (if so, please pass it on)

Sitters did not always have the ability to leave those category reviews. This was added a few years ago. Although I don’t have the exact date this started, looking at my own reviews given for HOs, it looks to have started in late 2023 to Spring 2024. Someone else can likely narrow it down more specifically.

Yes, correct info @MaggieUU - THS only added the breakdown of categories on reviews for both hosts and sitters in the last couple of years which is probably the reason they’re missing @Persiflage. #reviewreason

As @MaggieUU has said these categories weren’t always there for reviews of hosts .

These were introduced in Feb 2024 - link to an announcement on the forum -
