Returned yesterday, May 21 from a sit in Ketch Harbor (near Halifax), NS. 3 flights and the last was New York-Laguardia to Washington-National landing at sunset. The weather had us flying what is called the River Visual approach which follows the Potomac River downstream and flies past the National Cathedral, over Georgetown and past the Kennedy Center, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and the mall, and the Jefferson Memorial.
