In 2025, the Trusted Housesitters forum celebrated our 5th birthday.
That’s 5 years of fantastic discussions covering everything from; amazing house sits, to Covid protocols. Tips for writing great Welcome Guides to travel disruption and so much more.
As you can imagine, some discussions aren’t as useful as they were at the time, and the forum team will be looking at tidying things up.
What are we going to do?
Moving forward, the forum team will periodically look over older discussions which no longer serve our members. These may be for a whole variety of reasons, but most likely the age and usefulness of the topic will be key.
The team may then move a discussion into a newly created ‘Archive’ category and it will no longer be possible to reply to that discussion.
Will any discussions be deleted?
No. Forum members who are logged in will still be able to read and search for all archived discussions.
What if a useful discussion is archived?
If the forum team archives a discussion which you feel is still useful, you can link back to it and start a new discussion on the same theme.
