Hello fellow house sitters and pet owners. I’m Rachel from Raleigh, NC. I’ve just recently joined THS and just finished up my first house/pet sit and am getting ready to start another tomorrow.
I sold my business of 23 years in August 2020 and consider myself officially retired.
I’m usually a full time foster care giver and volunteer with our local animal rescue but our most recent litter of pups had parvo. I’m happy to report that all the pups survived, but what an awful illness it is! As a result, our home and wooded backyard are deemed “contaminated” until June 2022 (ugh!). So I figure this is my chance to make lemonade out of lemons and do a bit more traveling and exploring and adventuring.
