I am originally from California but I’ve been living in the UK for about eight years. My husband and I moved to Anglesey during lockdown - he’s been coming here since he was a child and we thought that since this is our favourite to come on holiday it made sense to make it our home.
We have Sam, our beautiful whippet x collie cross and he’s the reason we’ve joined.
My husband is doing a PhD and studies from home, I work for a charity and have to go abroad for weeks at a time a few times during the year and sometimes my husband comes with me.
We’re SO grateful to have found THS to let us share our home in this beautiful place and to find people who love dogs to look after ours and we’re looking forward to meeting some of you!
If anyone has advice on how to use this and how to find good sitters and what we should do to be a good home owner on here, let us know!

Great pic of Sam I’m sure you’ll have no problems finding sitters. Anglesey is so beautiful too. After our first sit we knew that becoming members of TH was a great way to spend our retirement.
My advise is to read profiles and trust your instincts. Oh and a video call for both parties to ask questions before making any decisions.
