Homeowners good reviews are removed

I just noticed that two good reviews from the same homeowner for two different sits that were given in 2023 have been removed, I assume because they ended their membership. Only the text was removed, not the stars, but it is in my opinion the text that matters most.

Do you know if my assumption is correct? (that text is removed when homeowners end their membership?). I don’t think it is fair!

Text is removed if a sitter or host asks for deletion under consumer privacy laws like GDPR. (Google if you want info on that.) A company has no choice under such laws to keep reviews. If they don’t adhere to such requests, they can face stiff fines based on a percentage of revenue.
