My username is a combination of my nickname, Cheezy (I say a lot of cheesy stuff
) and a play on my name, Amanda - hence, cheezymanders.
Goes back years - computer repairs and upgrades

@Maggie8K That person spent $8,000 on gummy bears? Might have better been spent on going to the dentist after all that sugar ![]()
@ziggy Ziggy and Marley are fun names for pups–way to keep the love of Bob Marley in the family ![]()
@Cuttlefish What a neat nickname…and you mentioned "school & uni…What is “uni”?

The bank flagged the charge and msg’d me something like, did you spend $8k at IloveGummyBears? (I can’t remember the exact name now.) Of course I hadn’t. ![]()
I like gummy bears, but not $8k worth. ![]()

We have two cats and a dog. Though the cats wont be at home when we have sitters, only the dog.
Hi @Colin
My mom once told me that she had intended to name me “Stormy” (not sure how she would have spelled it) because I was born on a stormy night. I am glad that she chose differently. ![]()
My grandmother used to call me “Shellie” (also not sure how she would have spelled it). Although I did not care for the name Shellie at the time, when I reflect on my grandmother and the very mention of “Shellie”, it brings fond memories of her. ![]()
Hi @CatsAndDog
Do the cats and dog get along?
nickname my husband calls me ![]()
Yes, when we’re at home. But they’re not exactly friends. And when I’m away, one of the cats (a cute little one) starts to annoy the dog, who then reacts and starts to bully the other cat (a good boy) ![]()
But even when we travel with the dog, we don’t have a sitter to take care of the cats, because they’re just too much work. They’re totally lovable and adorable, but I cannot see a sitter wanting to
None of this happens weekly (well, maybe washing the litterbox walls), but the likelihood increases when I’m not at home.
Sorry, totally off-topic ![]()
Lokstar is a name my hubby used decades ago for a business he once had. After we met we realised it is also a combination of our two names!
Lok is part of hubbys name and star is the Hindi translation of my name Tara. We both love India and have spent years living there so this name is perfect & suits our travelling lifestyle!
It all trickles down ![]()
Wow! When it is meant to be, it is meant to be. ![]()
Ours is our names, my husband Paul and me Annie. P and A became PandA, then we added the OnTour when we began our travels in 2018. ![]()
Yes, that’s us ![]()
