All I see on this app is people looking for someone but in their profile it says looking at applications. How do you apply cause I don’t see anywhere Where you apply For a sit.
Reviewing applications means that the owners received 5 applications and their ad is now paused and you can no longer apply unless they reopen it.
You need to make sure that you are one of the first 5 to apply.
If you have specific dates/locations you’d like to sit, you can save those and set up a push notification so you know something you are interested in has been posted.
Still no guarantee though, the geat sits get snapped up in less than 30 minutes, so it’s a matter of being very fast with your application.

When a sit is open for applications you will see a button with View date. If you press the View date-button you will see the dates that the host want applicants, and you get the option to apply. Tick the dates you want to apply for and press the apply to sit-button. It will open a new tab where you can write your application.

Look for sits with the low applications badge - these have not received 5 applications and are open for applications.

Have you paid to become a member of trustedhousesitters?.
If you are looking at the free version, that is only to give you an idea of sits available.
You have to pay and join properly before you can apply to any of the sits listed

Wow, I guess the good sits go very quick
Only the ones that are in major tourist places go very quickly, with others you have a little more time. It just depends where you are looking at.
Also, if you don’t have any reviews yet, please don’t presume you’re going to be able to get a sit overseas in a major tourist place, it’s unlikely to happen, because the owner doesn’t even know if you’ll turn up when you say you will. So get a few reviews under your belt firstly to help you secure the major tourist places that you truly desire, if that’s what you are after.
