Does anyone know how many active THS sitters there are at present ?
They say THS has over 200 000 members, but not the ratio hosts-sitters I believe.
My guess would be more hosts than sitters, but more sitters per attractive sits?

THS a have not disclosed this and they also said that some of the published numbers about new members referred to the number of pets ( not people )

@toreishi THS has never published this data. Keep in mind, there would be thousands of active sitters who have paid their membership but are inactive for much of the year because they may work, only holiday occasionally or some other valid reason.

That was interesting!
Knowing the number of sitter would not tell you much as many sitters renew membership but may not have been active in over two years. They keep up membership to save their good reviews thinking in the future they may use it again. Reasons could be their lifestyle has changed for now, an illness that needs attention at home, new partner that this type of travel seems foreign to them, decided to get their own pet and want to spend time with the pet before they sign up for dual membership. So many reasons.

Same with homeowners. If you look at “past sitters” you’ll see some people who’ve been members for years but might only have one or two THS sitters per year.

I suppose one way to calculate numbers would be a valuation of the company and projected profits. This would indicate the numbers of users….
