Is there an “official” way to cancel a sit application? Not a confirmed sit, just an application.
I have had situations where the HO doesn’t respond for a few days and I want to apply for another sit during the same time period. In the past I simply send another message that I want to withdraw my application, but I wonder if there is a more “official” method?
No just withdraw your application.

if you click the dates again on your original application it will then automatically be (officially) withdrawn.
I’d always send a short message to go with it to be polite
Just go in your inbox to where your application is. Scroll up the message to the dates you have applied for and press cancel- its very easy. You do not need permission from the HO to cancel.
