HOW to update my own calendar availability

  1. how do I access my calendar?
  2. is there a way to block out the months I choose NOT to sit at all. I only sit during May - OCT each year.
    I know there has been alot written about the flawed calendar system on THS…has anything changed since last year?

On your dashboard, click on profile > availability. This is where you can update your calendar, but I don’t have experience with any flaws or possible updates.

Yes @heartgirl, there has been a change to updating your calendar. I always tried to have mine updated fairly accurately. Last week I went to change it and found the “improvement” was hopeless to mark a number of consecutive months as available. I tried on both the website and app and had no success with either. So, I’ve joined the many sitters whose calendar now looks like I am unavailable (being the default position) for much of the year! It allows me to click on a start date but when I try to block several months, it won’t come up with the end date of that block. That end date just becomes a new start date! If anyone has managed to block, for example, 4 consecutive months using the new format, I’d welcome some advice.
