What birds have you ‘spotted’ on a sit?
Peacock in the back garden of this sit, Jersey in the Channel Islands letting the neighbourhood know that’s its bedtime!
As you can probably tell from my name I am a keen birder.
We had a sit with doves and another one that adjoined an area owned by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust where they had a Barn Owl project and we saw them flying around during the day and landing on the garden fence posts. Such a treat.
I love a Peacock but they are noisy critters 
13 White storks over the house where we did a sit last week. In Sussex UK.
In my own front yard and big oak tree I have had these visitors, Northern Cardinal, Sandhills Crane, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, White Ibis, Owl. The neighborhood has lots of of lakes and lizards to make them happy.
I need a very jealous emoji. I haven’t even heard of some of those birds.
I did see white tailed sea eagles on a recent holiday to the Isle of Skye, which was amazing. My photos weren’t great as they were taken from a boat that refused to stop bobbing about - and they are very fast birds. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it.
I can also recommend the Merlin app for recognising bird calls in the area.

Climate change and loss of habitat is definitely having an effect (affect) 
on wildlife. I remember seeing these birds in Tenerife - never expected to see them in Yorkshire UK.
A pheasant in a garden in Oldfeld, near Haworth, W. Yorkshire 2 years ago. Don’t have a photo though.
After a brutal wake-up call from a Gambian pied crow, these lovebirds do their best to lift my mood by beautifully serenading me every morning. I am not sure what they are, but a quick search suggests they are most probably either common bulbuls or black-crowned night herons, or perhaps something entirely different.
