Looking for City of London sit for spring

Hello,

I am looking for a city of London house sit. I prefer cats.

I love London and have been twice but far too short a time for my liking. Would like to stay longer and explore england a bit more and advice on securing a London sit.

Looking forward to meeting people from around the world.

Happy new year :sparkles:

If you go on the trusted housesitters app or the website you can see England and London sits and apply for them! Good luck!

@SamK Welcome
Once you have joined THS you can search for U.K. sits - there are lots in the London area for cats .

Thanks so much, everyone, l will defintiely be looking regularly now :blush::sparkles::pray:t3:

I did a sit in Catford and in Beckenham with cats. I found both very walkable with good public transportation and easy trains to zone 1 London.

Very helpful, thank you for sharing :blossom:

One thing to know is that in the UK, “City of London” refers to the financial district of London (like Wall Street in NY). So if you tell a British person that’s where you want to stay, they’ll most likely think you want that particular section of London.

This is so helpful. Thank you for correcting me.

I’m looking for a London sit too, and I’ve noticed that a lot (most) of the London (even “city of london”) sits are nowhere near London. Best look in the “home & location” part of the slt & check on a map. One is as far away as Cambridge, which is fine if thats where you want to go but not if you want London.

Right. I was thinking there’s not much housing in the City of London and don’t think I’ve ever even seen a sit there.

But it is where the fat cats are…
