Hi. We are Tami and Tony, a newly married cpl from Heber City, Utah, USA. We are nestled in the Wasatch mountain range just northwest of Salt Lake City, in northern Utah. Our mountain scenery is breathtaking and a big reason why we moved here from the Chicagoland area. We are at 5,600 ft above sea level where the air is clean, no bugs or humidity and virtually zero crime in our small mountain valley. The winters are just as gorgeous as the summers. We have a 2 bedroom condo with our 2 dogs. A yellow lab named Murdock who is 6 and a beagle/sharpe mix named Katy who is a feisty 10 yrs. old. I’m a retired Navy veteran at home and Tony is in the ski industry at resorts nearby. We usually take the dogs with us camping but lately would like to travel within the states and leave the dogs at home with a THS. (I made a profile previously but deleted it by mistake in trying to edit it.) Looking forward to learning how all this works and reading everyone’s experiences.

I can just imagine the beauty of where you live… have missed not being able to get back over to the States since the pandemic started. And just look at the faces on those two pups!! You’ll have no problem finding sitters I’m sure!!

@Utahpups that sounds like a great home base and dogs look chilled out (until somebody said ‘walk?’ or perhaps ‘dinner time!’) You will have no trouble finding sitters from what you describe…lots of good photos of dogs, house, surrounds and a strong profile that you dont delete will swing it! Welcome Tami and Tony! Before we started our digital nomad, full time sitter life we lived in Boise, Idaho and traveled a few times to Salt Lake City by car to see family. The drive was always beautiful and while we never were lucky enough to spend time in Heber City, we can only imagine that it’s wonderful town.
