I thought I would save moderation the effort and decided to open this new thread to answer a post from another thread.

I tolerated the barking for several days at which point I contacted the host who agreed to come home and made it sound like it was no big deal. Well his wife came home he was somewhere else so it wasn’t some big inconvenience meanwhile I had to incur the cost of plane tickets to another sit which weren’t cheap.

I demanded he remove the dates or I will contact THS and file an OFFICIAL complaint he just laughed and said good luck with that and referred to me in derrogatory terms to which I have the screenshots.

As @Twitcher has pointed out, that kind of complaint is called Member Dispute. You can try to file one but IMHO this will increase your chances of getting banned from the platform.

When a dispute is filed, THS don’t just take your word for it, they investigate both parties and usually freeze their accounts in the meantime.

You may want to consider all the input you have received in almost every thread on this forum, both from HOs and sitters alike, as a sample of what THS might think and the kind of help you might get.
